• Wipe up spills immediately to minimize exposure to surface-damaging substances.
• Use mild, non-abrasive cleaning products that DO NOT CONTAIN ammonia, bleach or solvents.
• Use surface protectors on the bottom of ceramic or metal objects.
• Place protection underneath candles, vases, flower pots, etc.
• Test cleaning products on an inconspicuous area before using on an entire surface.
• Slide objects with sharp edges across concrete surfaces.
• Use abrasive cleaners or pads.
• Cut directly on surface.
• Place hot pots or objects on the surface.
• Let acidic objects and or ammonia based solutions sit directly on the surface.
• Gran Quartz Stone Polish (available at Gran Quartz or via Amazon.ca) or Gel Gloss (Rona, Home Depot).
• Reseal the surface every 2-3 years depending on usage.
• Most nominal damage or staining may be repaired.
• As with most comparable surfaces, chips from heavy pots and pans, around the kitchen sink is most common, are repairable but not covered under warranty.
